About the Author
Mark C. Partridge is a Contributing Editor and Senior Correspondent at The Diplomatic Courier, whose columns on energy, international trade and sanctions appear once a week. He served as the Courier’s London Correspondent in 2007. He holds a Master’s in Modern History from University College London, and a BA in History and Economics from the University of Reading, UK. Previously, Mr. Partridge worked as a Research Assistant at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and an Assistant Producer for Silverbridge Productions, a PBS/Frontline production company, making a documentary on the bombing of the UN building in Iraq in 2003. He currently lives in Seattle, WA.
